Teen Summer Reading at the Manchester City Library June 18 -August 18

Register in person or online at starting June 1st. The first 50 teens who sign up will receive a gift bag and a free book. Log the number of hours you read starting June 18th by visiting the Information Desk or using the form at For every hour you read and every program you attend, points may be earned toward a $25 gift card raffle and total points entered into a $75 grand prize raffle.

Now is the time to get an MCL borrowing card if you don't already have one. If you are under 18 yrs. of age, go with a parent/guardian to register for one. The full teen summer program handout is on the GiveAway Table in the Library Learning Commons.

Get ready for teen summer reading by downloading 2 free audiobooks a week through SYNC. The free audiobook downloads begin April 26th and continue for the next 13 weeks. This free summer audiobook program is for teens 13+ and focuses on high interest titles, based on weekly themes. Go to the website to sign up for email or text alerts.

The Flume: NH Teen Reader’s Choice Award.........

Each year teens nominate titles published within the last three years they think deserve to be recognized. Librarians narrow the group of titles to a shorter list. Teens then vote for the winning title from that list. Here are this year's nominees:
